Father's Day Photo Contest

It's that time again to celebrate the fathers and father-figures in your lives!  We have a great prize-pack up for grabs so read the 'how-to' below for all the details associated with our contest!

  Here is how to enter the photo contest: The rules:   Submit a photo of you (if you are a father), or your father, enjoying Alaska!  It doesn’t have to be just your father, it can be a picture showing an entire family enjoying Alaska with their father! Include with your submission the location and year this photo was taken. If you do not have a Facebook account but would like to enter please make sure that you give us a good contact name and email with your entry. Submissions: Please submit your photo’s to admin@www.thealaskalife.com with “Father's Day Photo” in the subject line.  Submission deadline is Sunday, June 15th, 2014.  We will post the images as they come in so the earlier the better!  ‘Likes’ will be counted on Monday, June 16th, 2014 and winner will be announced! All submissions will be posted to The Alaska Life Facebook page and will be posted in an album titled: 2014 Fathers’s Day Photo Contest. Once your entry is published you can share your photo and ask all of your friends to vote for your picture. Also voting will be other fans of Facebook page. Make sure that you have rights to any and all pictures you will be submitting. You may have one entry to this contest. The pictures must be taken in Alaska but do not need to be current. We would just like your favorite one. How you win: This contest is a “likes” based contest so, the sooner we receive your photos the more time you have to share the links with your friends and have your entries viewed. Entries will be posted on a first come first serve basis.  Good news...you CAN vote for your own picture! The Prize: If you have the most “liked” photo  at the close of our contest you will be the winner. You will win a set of TAG Bag Gamebags from Pristine Ventures, one of our brand new 'Adventure' t-shirts, one of our fitted hats, and lastly a decal featuring our classic bear logo!  The winning picture will also be featured on www.thealaskalife.com website. If your picture was chosen, you have 72 hours to claim your prize by sending us your name and shipping address. We will verify by matching the email address to the photo originally submitted. Your items will be shipped within 7 business days of  claiming your prize.  Should the winner not respond, The Alaska Life will choose the photo with the next highest likes. Please know that The Alaska Life  may choose any of the submissions for any marketing associated with The Alaska Life or its affiliates. The Alaska Life will post images to its Facebook page at the discretion of its staff.  If your photo is deemed inappropriate for any reason you will be notified via email.
